Charged EVs | Motiv Power Systems supplies electric step vans to Shasta Linen Supply

In late 2023, California-based EV producer Motiv Power Systems delivered 5 electrical step vans to Shasta Linen Provide, which is headquartered in Sacramento.

Shasta has retrofitted its current enterprise infrastructure to assist the Motiv vans. The brand new vans, working on native routes within the Sacramento and San Joaquin valleys, now make up half of Shasta’s fleet. This places the corporate nicely forward of the state’s Superior Clear Fleets regulation that requires fleets to be 50% electrical by 2031.

“Given the sheer weight of linens, constructing an electrical truck that may deal with the payload is an industry-wide problem. Motiv rose to that problem,” stated Jim Castalez, founder and Chief Expertise and Income Officer of Motiv Energy Techniques.
