Charged EVs | AB Dynamics acquires EV testing firm Venshure Test Services

UK automotive testing expertise firm AB Dynamics has introduced its acquisition of US dynamometer-based testing companies supplier Venshure Check Providers (VTS). 

The utmost consideration payable for VTS, which is being acquired from its two shareholders, is $30 million. The preliminary money consideration is $15 million.

VTS is concentrated on growing and deploying EVs for US automotive OEMs. It contains services that provide such testing companies as mileage accumulation and evaluation of EV powertrain and battery efficiency in excessive weather conditions. Its standardized procedures are used to validate EV battery power consumption and vary testing by producing SAE J1634 high quality information.

The acquisition is meant to allow AB Dynamics to increase its testing capabilities, and to enrich its California-based monitor testing companies enterprise with laboratory-based testing.

“The acquisition expands each {our capability} and geographic protection within the necessary and rising area of EV battery and powertrain efficiency analysis,” stated AB Dynamics CEO Dr. James Routh.
