Charged EVs | Zapgo receives £26 million to install EV chargers in the UK

Newly launched UK-based EV cost level operator Zapgo has commenced operations after a £25 million funding by Toronto-based OPTrust and extra funding from Zapgo’s administration group and founders, Kingsley Capital Companions.

The corporate’s goal is to put in a complete of 4,000 fast (50-99 kW) and high-power (>100 kW) chargers in underserved UK places.

“We look ahead to working alongside native landowners and planning authorities to ship this critically vital quick charging infrastructure,” stated Zapgo CEO Steve Leighton. “The transfer will improve motorists’ confidence by lowering vary anxiousness, shortening cost instances and selling EV adoption.”
