It’s been a tricky few weeks for electrical bike remembers, with the most recent coming from main bicycle producer Trek. The corporate introduced a recall of all Allant+ 7 fashions with Tektro brakes resulting from a threat of brake hose malfunction.

Riders with affected bikes can deliver their e-bike to a neighborhood Trek vendor to have the headlight mount and rear brake cable changed. They can even obtain a US $10 credit score from Trek for merchandise or equipment.
The corporate shared a picture detailing the kind of headlight bracket on the affected bikes, serving to riders decide if their Trek Allant+ 7 e-bike is included within the recall.
This isn’t Trek’s first recall this summer time, and follows on the heels of a much larger recall introduced for different Trek fashions with a separate braking problem, affecting round 96,000 bikes.
