TE Connectivity develops HIVONEX connector and PowerTube charging options for EVs
TE Connectivity, a connectivity and sensor producer, has developed connector and charging options for the EV transition.
The HIVONEX vary provides modular, scalable merchandise for harsh industrial and industrial car settings and consists of the brand new PowerTube Connector Collection for big electrical hundreds resembling these in vans, buses, and development and agricultural automobiles. Different merchandise within the portfolio embody:
- IPT-HD Energy Bolt Connector: a bolted resolution for the motor management unit (MCU), e-axle and e-motor purposes. The connector can stand up to excessive temperatures and engine-level vibrations and provides a brand new shielding design to enhance electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) efficiency. It helps as much as three positions: 50, 70, and 95 mm² wire dimension; and pre-made wire harnesses.
- ICT Charging Inlets: out there in kits and pigtail cable assemblies.
- HVA HD400 Connector: developed for high-voltage accent car purposes resembling HVAC, heaters, hydraulic pumps and digital energy steering. This resolution is able to withstanding excessive temperatures (-40° C to +140° C) and transmission-level vibrations, meets IP68/IP6K9K scores, and permits two or three conductors in the identical interface.
“The HIVONEX connector and charging merchandise are designed for excessive environments—secure connectivity, scalability and excessive voltages of energy for these working within the subject,” stated Sebastien Dupre, Director of Product Administration for the E-mobility Product Portfolio at TE.
